Brooklyn was wanting a snowman when she came up for Christmas this year just like last year. The day I picked them up all of our snow from the storm a couple weeks earlier was gone. Then on the 15th it started to snow but really confused her since she could see the white snow falling but nothing white on the ground as it melted as soon as it hit the ground.
Well the following week we started to get the snow and it kept coming and on Thursday I got off work early so I could build a snowman with her. It didn't work too well but I did get a little one made while she took a nap.
The next three days produced more snow but it couldn't be made into a snowman since it was too dry, cold and flaky.
Then Sunday came and after church we were able to finally make some snowmen, and this was the first one.
Then I went crazy since the snow packed so well and I made a few more. I moved the one I had made over between the two larger , Grandma and Grandpa, snowmen. Then Gabe and Sam came down to visit so we had to make one for each of them.
Then I decided that since 5 of the grandchildren were here and 5 were not that I would make five total small snowmen to represent the five here OR the five that I was missing so much that were still in Colorado and California. (The latter at Disneyland from Arizona.)
It warmed up a little more the next day and several of the pine cones, pieces of rocks and other things used to make them complete fell off, so I took more pictures over the next few days so I could show how the new snow storms were adorning the snowmen.
This was after the last big storm and the snowmen looked a lot different now.
I didn't get a picture when I should have of this princess snowman and after the following wind and storms this is how she looks now. (Tia and Scott made this one.)
This is a panorama of part of the yard I did to show our piles of snow in just two weeks.
