The start of the trail marker.
There are actually several trails that start here.
And it was a pretty Fall day.
Kate wanted to stay ahead and
did run a lot to do it.
Alex wanted to bring his bike but
a flat tire didn't make him a happy walker.
Resting time. Although the trail
is not a hard hike, it does take some energy.
It took a while to get him happy
but at the end he was having fun.
The view up the canyon was beautiful.

Or the stone monsters from
Frozen 2 in the rocks.
This is where the trail got a little steeper
and a lot less shade.
Did make for some photo ops.

We came down different trails.
They were pretty steep
Ended up at the little reservoir for some fish watching
and rock skipping.
