BYU Bookstore Princess Party

Part of the President's party was a display of
live princesses in the BYU Store.
Great marketing tactic, get parents into the store
and make them go to all three levels and different sections
to find all of the princesses so their children
could get autographs from all of them
They did a really good job matching the girls to the
princess characters.

At first we thought that Alex
might not want to participate but
we found a football player
and Cosmo to get his attention.
Then later he got all of the
princesses autographs as well.

Kate wanted nothing to do with posing by them for a picture
However toward the end mom was not allowed in the picture.

He must have just asked her on a date

I think the Olaf stuffed animal helped to start breaking the ice.

OK maybe not.

With some of the Averett cousins.

Brave in particular loved his red hair.

This is where mom was ousted from the picture
notice we were almost out of fairies and princesses by then

We went back to the first so that
Alex could get the last three he had missed.

Pres. and Sister Worthen's Christmas Party at the Wilk

President and Sister Kevin Worthen have
continued the BYU Christmas tradition
of hosting a party for the families
of BYU employees.

It is a fun event for children with
crafts and games for them to have fun
as well as to meet Santa.
We started Zoey at the games since the line
was a lot shorter than the craft line
where Alex and Kate, with Averett
cousins were standing.

Fishing pond

Pin the nose on Frosty

Ring Toss

Musical Chairs

Bean Bag toss

Obstacle course

Later we joined up with them for
doughnuts and drinks.

Waiting in line to see Santa.

Averett cousins with Santa.

Those doughnuts were really good.

Grandpa Averett never wanted a cell phone
but once he finally had to get it he has
since learned what fun it is to see
pictures of elk sent to him from Jeff.

Marie seems to find friends from Reagan Academy
just about where ever she goes.

 More Reagan friends.

We stopped for a quick picture in front of the
Y campus mural.

The Y on the mountain was almost hidden in the snow.
