Welding the fence

Jeff has done it again.

Came through with his many talents

and welded a fence together for me.

 FUN FACT:I watched a deer at full speed run under the fence

in the ditch and then jump the electric fence in a very fluid movement.

She never broke stride and made it look so easy.

An early morning visitor.

This morning we had a 3 point buck come to visit with us. 

However he never rang the doorbell.

It looks like a little 2-point buck was here as well.

Summer Deer

There are still deer visiting the yard and it is 

fun since some of them are even coming 

during the daylight hours.

So it is almost summer and the deer are still here.

And these two are this years fawns.

She came through just a little

 later in the morning than usual.

July 8-9, 2016 A mix if deer and dragons

The few days before camp we had several deer 

come to visit.

During the campfire part as we were sitting

around the campfire a doe came to the fence 

and was about to jump over when one

of the scouts jumped up and said he could see a deer.

She walked up and down the fence and finally 

jumped over into the neighbors yard to the south 

of mine.

 This deer is climbing up on the pile of wood 

that I have crossing the ditch.

The wood is not stable but it hasn't seemed to bother 

them as I have several pictures with them on there.

 This deer came in after I had left for work on Thursday.

I had the trail cam sitting on the wood pile

and by letting my imagination go a little

wild I could see dragons in the flames.

45 minutes ahead. 

The buck woke me about 4:45 am

 and got out of bed at 5:00 am.
