This was not what I was expecting for a dog sled ride
but it was fun and very educational.
This team participates in the annual sled races
through Alaska and does quite well.
2 of the young pups that do not race yet.
He took pictures of each of his dogs for us
and apparently does it every time.
The scenery was just beautiful.

We each put a harness on one of the team.
At the end of the ride he talked to us about the
various races he has been in and
what he learned.
Was very interesting.
He has raced several times in the Iditarod,
the largest race.
The dogs were ready to get moving after his talk.
