2013 Changes to Yard 1st Post East side of the house.

Thanks to Tia, Scott, Jeffrey and Brittany, Marie and I have seen a lot of good changes to the yard this past summer. Tia started a good part of it by wanting to make a mound again on the north west corner of the yard. That then led to many other changes.

The following several blogs will show these changes as I have recorded them into images this year.

This is the east side of the house. We started by outlining with rocks where we wanted mounds to be made to help channel irrigation water.

Then we started adding gravel left over from the surface well that we had dug.
(More on the well to come.)

Then the dirt was added.

And rocks and mulch topped them off.
Some flowers have been added recently by Jeffrey that will start to show next spring.

We still have grass to add to parts of it.
The grass area is just wide enough for the lawn mower to fit through.

These next two images show two rocks that were brought over from
Bishop Jone's place which he had left over.
The tailgate of Scott's truck will never be the same.

End of first post.

A night with Kate

Kasia loved holding Kate.

They all loved holding Kate, not sure anyone else got a turn yet.

Alex loves his little sister too but he also loves playing in Grandpa's playhouse.

While I was at work they decided to have an early birthday party for Jeff
(turning 36 on Halloween).

Greyson's Birthday Party Oct 10, 2013

We were a little late (10/10) but since it was close to his birthday(9/11) we decided to have a party for Greyson while they were here. I think he loved all the Hot wheels stuff.

The Handprint Wall in Grandma's Playhouse

Two times now. The only Grandchild we are currently missing is Kate since she was just born 9/27/2013. The rest are there now twice, see if you can find each one two times. These were first done in 2011 during our family reunion and again in 2013 throughout the summer as they were able to come and visit.

A visit with the Grandchildren from AZ

We had a great visit with our wonderful grandchildren from AZ this year, twice. We failed to get their handprints on the wall the first time so when the possibility of them coming up again happened, well I wasn't going to let it get by a second time. Thankyou for letting us do it with you Hallie, Leilah, and Greyson.
